The excitement after the NY Giants drafted Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick isn't going anywhere. Fans can't wait to see what the stud wideout will be able to get done this season and beyond for Brian Daboll and Co. However, what's going to happen at quarterback after 2024?

The expectation for a while has been that the G-Men will bring in a Daniel Jones replacement in the 2025 NFL Draft. Maybe that's not going to be in the cards? In a new mock draft, Pro Football Network has Joe Schoen taking Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham with the No. 6 overall selection. How would Big Blue supporters feel about this?

Michigan DT Mason Graham has been linked with the Giants for 2025

"Were it not for (Deone) Walker’s freakishness, Mason Graham would be the DT1 in the class. He consistently wins as a run defender and pass rusher and has few holes in his game. Michigan likes to rotate its DTs frequently (and the Wolverines have the depth to do so without significant drop-off). But when on the field, offenses feel Graham’s impact."

Schoen is already building an incredible defense, with the addition of Brian Burns continuing to be head-turning. Up front, the G-Men feature Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Dexter Lawrence, one of the best defensive tackles in the game. Could you imagine if Graham is added to the mix?

NFC East offensive linemen already have issues trying to stop the Giants as it is, but this would make things even better. Graham is a unit, checking in at 6-3, 320 pounds. Last season for the Wolverines, Graham posted 36 total tackles and three sacks as a sophomore.

Again, the Giants defensive front is already an impressive one, but Schoen may be ready to add even more young pieces. You'd think the Giants would prioritize finding a long-term answer at quarterback, but perhaps the front office will look at free agency instead - there's speculation someone like Dak Prescott will be made available. Regardless, Graham is a stud and if he's on the board when NY is up to pick in the first round next April, he may end up being Schoen's guy.
