Too early to start thinking about the playoffs next season? Not a chance. This offseason, teams have been working around the clock to improve their rosters, with the NY Giants making plenty of splashes on both sides of the ball. The G-Men and Joe Schoen aren't the only ones who have made some big moves.

While a lot of you out there are fired up for Week 1 to get here, the playoffs will get here before you know it, with 14 teams all set to try and make noise this January. So, when will the postseason officially get started?

NFL playoffs for the 2023-24 season format

Things will stay the same for this campaign in terms of the playoffs, with seven teams from the AFC and seven teams from the NFC moving on past the regular season. The No. 1 seed for the AFC/NFC will get a bye during the Wild Card Round, then take on the worst-seeded squad in the Divisional Round.

NFL playoffs for the 2023-24 season prediction

As things stand, the Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to win the Super Bowl next February. While it wouldn't surprise us to see Patrick Mahomes and Co. go back-to-back here, we're going with a different AFC side to get the job done: the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills were expected to push for the Lombardi Trophy last year, but they dropped the ball vs. the Bengals. Could this be the season where Josh Allen finally gets his ring? We think that will be the case.
