4 NY Giants who have impressed at training camp
1. QB Daniel Jones
Similar to Waller, Daniel Jones has also looked sensational. Not only did Jones make massive strides last season, but the rest of the team around him improved drastically as well. Now, entering 2023, it looks like Jones could emerge as a standout QB in this league.
Considering how poorly Jones played last training camp and the fact that he had an incredible season in '22 has us excited for 2023 with how well he's looked this summer. According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Jones completed 36 of his 69 attempts and had three interceptions throughout all of training camp last season. He's been way better this year.
Jones has also looked far more confident and has even seemingly improved his arm. Jones has been throwing the ball with much more zip than in previous seasons. While his arm power was never really a problem, we're excited to see what Jones can do with the absolute cannon he now has.
If this improvement translates to the regular season, then any conversations surrounding Jones potentially making too much money on his extension will cease. He was already a great player in '22, so we can only imagine how well he'll perform with this new-and-improved offense during the 2023 season.
