You just had a feeling that NY Giants general manager Joe Schoen would bring in some offensive line depth after the unfortunate injury news on hoss J.C. Hassenauer. In case you missed it, the 6-2, 295-pounder suffered a torn triceps injury and he has since been placed on IR.
However, Schoen worked out four offensive linemen on Monday, including former Arizona Cardinals guard Sean Harlow. On Tuesday morning, Art Stapleton reported that the G-Men have come to terms with Harlow, a 6-4, 285-pounder.

Sean Harlow has signed a new contract with the NY Giants
From a depth standpoint, this is exactly what Schoen needed to do at this point in camp. The preseason opener is right around the corner for this team, as Big Blue is getting ready to take on the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Friday, Aug. 11. That'll be an interesting showdown.
Harlow has plenty of experience under his belt. He made his NFL debut in 2019, suiting up for one game with the Atlanta Falcons. After that, he made his way to the Arizona Cardinals, lining up at multiple positions along the line for the NFC West side.
In 2021, Harlow appeared in 15 games for the Cards, posting five starts. Then last fall and winter, he played in all 17 games for Arizona, starting three of those contests. Similar to Hassenauer, Harlow isn't being brought in to push for a starting job.
However, it's great to know that he has starting experience under his belt and he'll be ready to step in and make some plays for this offense whenever his number is called. We should see plenty of Harlow once the preseason arrives. Before that, though, he'll hope to make a splash going up against Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams and the rest of the talented Giants defensive line at camp.
