The worst fear has arrived for NY Giants fans, as Malik Nabers has officially been ruled out for the Week 5 showdown against the Seattle Seahawks. Nabers suffered his concussion against the Cowboys in primetime and now he's going to miss the first game of his career.

With Nabers not able to make plays, it's going to leave a massive void for the Giants offense. Nabers has been the focal point for the aerial attack through the first four games Others are going to have to step up with him not only not playing in this one, but also staying home and skipping the trip to the Pacific Northwest:

3. QB Daniel Jones

Obviously, we're going to need to see Daniel Jones be at his best if the Giants are going to have a shot at taking down the Hawks at Lumen Field. Jones has looked strong at times this campaign, especially in the Week 3 win over the Browns.

However, he's still missing throws and his downfield attempts have been brutal. Danny Dimes can't keep making these mistakes. If those big-time plays are there for the taking in Week 5, he must take advantage.

2. WR Darius Slayton

He's been the subject of trade talks, but Darius Slayton isn't going to let that impact his confidence. Prior to 2024 getting underway, Slayton was the best wideout on this team and he led the G-Men in receiving yards four of the past five seasons.

Where he has hurt himself, however, has been with drops. We saw that against Dallas late in the contest. Against the Seahawks, Slayton will be the go-to option for Jones along with Wan'Dale Robinson. Will the veteran WR answer the call for this team and step up with Nabers hurt? We hope so.

1. Theo Johnson

This isn't a name we've mentioned a lot this season, which has not only been surprising, but also disappointing. When tight end Theo Johnson was taken in the fourth round, plenty of people thought he'd make a difference for this offense. He's been the TE1 for Brian Daboll, but the stats aren't backing that up.

Through four games, the rookie has three receptions for 37 yards to his name. What in the world? Daniel Bellinger has basically been a ghost too. Daboll needs to mix things up and get these players more involved, but Johnson himself needs to put himself in a better position to make plays and limit some of the silly mistakes we've already seen out of him.
