Talk about a total bounce-back showing from NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. The word out of camp following Day 6 was that Jones simply wasn't getting the job done for Brian Daboll, with his downfield throws being an issue - again.

According to the local reporters in East Rutherford, though, Danny Dimes completely turned things around for Day 7 action. A big reason for that was connecting with his new best friend in town, Malik Nabers. The two dazzled on a big play together. Matter of fact, this long touchdown may have been their best play together this summer:

Malik Nabers cooked Cor'Dale Flott on a deep TD from Daniel Jones

Everything about that play looked fantastic. The offensive line did its job in protecting Jones, which is where everything starts. Then, Nabers absolutely cooked Cor'Dale Flott, putting a double move on him that would make any cornerback in the league look silly.

Then to wrap things up, Jones put the ball on the money, placing it only where Nabers could come down with it. Nabers made an acrobatic grab too, which is something we're all growing acustom to seeing out of the first-round pick.

Nabers has been as good as advertised, as he's providing the Giants offense with a different kind of threat. Matter of fact, Nabers is already proving to be the most dynamite wideout the Giants have had in five years or so. This is obviously fantastic news for Jones, who's in a make-or-break campaign for Big Blue.

With the way his contract has been structured, general manager Joe Schoen and the front office have an out with Jones following the 2024 campaign. All signs are pointing to him being released next winter, but the veteran QB has a chance to save his behind this fall.

The up-and-down play from Jones has been disappointing, but when he's on top of his game, he reminds people of his potential. More of the same needs to be showcased in the coming weeks ahead of the highly-anticipated showdown with the Vikings on Sept. 8.
