The world is not ready for Jameis Winston’s latest venture outside football

Yes to all of it.

Look, I know what you’re thinking. We're all still trying to process the absolute, unfiltered electricity of Jameis Winston dropping locker room sermons in East Rutherford that fans haven't seen in years. The 32-year-old backup quarterback brought an unmatched energy to North Jersey the second he signed with the New York Giants last offseason, but buckle up because the fun hasn't even started yet.

Apparently, the sports world lacked sensory overload, because Famous Jameis is now taking his talents to other football -- literally -- with former legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski.

I give you: Other Football:

Winston and his unrivaled personality are coming to TV screens near you courtesy of Tubi. The show is an eight-episode crash course designed to teach these two goofballs about soccer before the World Cup. The world just isn't ready for this. They're putting a hot mic between Big Blue's new favorite philosopher and a human golden retriever who spikes everything he touches, all to discuss a sport that they have no business talking about.

It's absolute, unadulterated genius.

Jameis Winston and Rob Gronkowski might break sports TV as we know it

Winston gave fans a taste of the madness, saying: “Partnering with Gronk on The Other Football has been an absolute blessing and a whole lot of fun. Gronk brings that championship energy, I bring that W mentality, and together we get to dive into the biggest sport in the world during the World Cup."

Let’s look at what this "analysis" -- or lack thereof -- is actually going to look like.

Can you picture Winston trying to break down a false-nine formation or explaining the offside rule? No more boring corner kicks or throw-ins, no. From here on out, it's Shakespearean parables about destiny, the structural integrity of a soccer ball, the cosmic significance of a yellow card, and whatever else the made-for-tv host can think of.

The guest list is stacked: Tom Brady, comedian Keegan-Michael Key, Ted Lasso star Brendan Hunt, Team USA players Weston McKennie and Matt Turner, Sports Journalists Association president Darren Lewis, and Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.

There's no denying who's carrying the show. Gronk will be too busy giggling in the background because someone said the word nutmeg. While Jameis is philosophizing, Gronk’s contribution will be wondering why players don't just truck the opposing players into the stands or try to spike the ball into orbit after a goal. Brady’s production company is funding this unhinged playground, and it's going to be a beautiful, all but guaranteed trainwreck in the best way imaginable.

Forget what you thought about boring sports analysis. "Other Football" is either going to be a total disaster or the most entertaining thing on TV. There’s no in-between.
