With Malik Nabers out for the season, Wan'Dale Robinson is the man tasked with operating as the WR1 for the New York Giants, and is breaking out in real time. While Jaxson Dart enjoyed his best NFL start in the Giants' 34-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the fourth-year wideout has shined in his own right,
The 2022 second-round pick caught six passes for a team-high 84 yards and a touchdown in Week 6, and is making the most of his expanded role in a contract year. And following the most important victory of Big Blue's season, Robinson is making sure he's keeping receipts of what his critics have to say.

Through six starts, the Kentucky product has caught 29 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns and is tied with Carolina's Tetairoa McMillan for 15th in the league in receiving yards. His rapport with Dart has instantly flashed, and has finally been used as more of a downfield threat in Year 4, which is setting him up for a massive payday this offseason.
Wan'Dale Robinson is making his breakout season impossible to ignore
Last season, Robinson caught a whopping 93 passes for just 699 yards, but Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka are putting his skillset to more use this season. His 12.1 yards per reception marked a career-high, and his 35-yard touchdown reception was one of the most impressive plays of Thursday night.

While Dart's ability to escape the pocket and extend the play was impressive in itself, Robinson made Andrew Mukuba look absolutely foolish on that catch-and-run.
Both Nabers and Darius Slayton were absent for Big Blue in the victory, and Wan'Dale has stepped up as the safety net for the first-round rookie in a depleted receiver room. The former Ole Miss star is off to a blazing start to his NFL career, and it's because of Robinson and second-year tight end Theo Johnson.
We know what he can do with the ball in space, but his sudden explosiveness has been the real revelation. He’s thriving in motion looks, creating separation out of the slot, and showing a confidence that’s becoming contagious across the Giants’ offense.
Too many fans expected this offense to take a nosedive as soon as Nabers went down against the Chargers, but Robinson, Johnson, and Cam Skattebo are proving that's not the case. The Giants' young weapons have contributed heavily to two upset victories—and that all starts with the current alpha receiver.
