Not one. Not even two. Three. New York Giants' rookie running back Cam Skattebo had three touchdowns in Big Blue's shocking 34-17 upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football. It was one of those performances the 23-year-old will never forget.

Skatt's ascension over the past couple of weeks has been noteworthy. With 110 all-purpose yards on Thursday, the former Arizona State standout has now eclipsed the 100-scrimmage-yard mark in three of his last four games. The human-sized fire hydrant is already earning respect from all over the league. And the more touches he gets, the more impressive he looks.

After Big Blue's jaw-dropping victory, Skattebo had a postgame quote that will one-up every other postgame quote. If anyone thought he lacked confidence in himself, it's blatantly obvious he doesn't. When speaking with the Amazon Prime crew, the rookie touched on his upbringing and how it shaped him into who he is as a football player today. His response was nothing short of electric:

Cam Skattebo's postgame quote will have Giants fans running through walls

Skatt sure looked like someone who couldn't be stopped. He finished the night with 19 carries for 98 yards and three touchdowns. He added two receptions for 12 yards for good measure.

The Giants' offense looked great against a pretty strong Philadelphia defense. It certainly helped that Eagles' star defensive lineman Jalen Carter missed the game with a heel injury, but the G-Men can only play against the guys who are available, so kudos to the offense for taking care of business in a pivotal NFC East matchup.

This is exactly the guy the G-Men hoped they were getting when they took him in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. And shockingly, the guy who had 2,316 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns in his final season at ASU has somehow managed to produce in the NFL. Who could’ve possibly seen that coming from a fifth-place Heisman finisher?

He's the 5-foot-11, 215-pound chaos agent Giants fans never knew they needed. This is the guy who's more battering ram than human. He'll headbutt anything in front of him, including, but not limited to, his own quarterback.

Skatt is making a real case to be more than just a change-of-pace back. With Malik Nabers out for the season, Darius Slayton banged up, and the offense needing a new identity, Skattebo’s breakout couldn’t have come at a better time.

For a fanbase desperate for anything to believe in, hearing their rookie running back declare that nobody else can stop him — and back it up — is exactly the kind of delusion-turned-reality fans have been waiting for and are here for. Next up are the Denver Broncos. Let's see if their elite defense has what it takes to stop the Skatte-boom.
