Motivated Giants Will Take Down The Falcons
Expect the Giants to come out of the tunnel fired up and motivated to put last week’s embarrassing performance behind them once and for all in front of their home crowd. The Falcons are coming off an impressive win over the Eagles and are looking to prove that they can be serious championship contenders.
Both teams have plenty of talent on offense and I expect that to show for both teams. I expect the Giants to try to keep the Falcons ‘ offense on the bench as much as possible. I also expect the Falcons to try to exploit the Giants’ lack of pass rush on defense. All that being said I believe the Giants will force Ryan into making mistakes due to the Giants’ blitz schemes that will expose the Falcons’ below average offensive line.
The Falcons’ defense will pay close attention to Odell Beckham Jr as well as put some pressure on Eli Manning, but Manning has always been the kind of player that redeems himself after a poor performance and I believe he will do that against an improved Falcons defense. Julio Jones will make his usual impact, but I believe the Giants will do a better job of controlling the line of scrimmage and limit the damage dealt by Matt Ryan and company.
I have the New York Giants bouncing back at home 24-20 over the Atlanta Falcons who are getting closer to putting all the pieces together. They will play emotionally in front of their home crowd to secure the week 2 victory.
