3. An Increased Workload For Larry Donnell
The Giants may need Larry Donnell to step up in the passing game. Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham both suffered hamstring injuries last Sunday. Beckham has not been practicing. Randle looks like he is ready to go but he has been limited according to reports. The Giants have the potential of not having their best two weapons on the field.
Donnell would need to pick up the slack. Donnell always had the potential to be a superstar with his 6’6″ frame and great athletic ability. Donnell has been inconsistent however in his young career with the Giants.
Donnell stepped up last week when it mattered most.
With a leaping effort he caught the game winning touchdown pass. The Giants may need a lot more of that kind of play from Donnell. Especially if the Giants end up being down a receiver or two.
