This one was tough to watch.

Despite many fans thinking the game would be close, the NY Giants got absolutely embarrassed by the Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Not only did they lose 28-3, but they fell to 2-5 on the season and still remain winless at home in what was arguably their worst loss in years.

This was a huge game that could have swung a ton of momentum in the Giants' favor. Not only could a win have corrected their trajectory for the season, but it would have given them a huge advantage over Philadelphia in what looks to be a tightly contested NFC East. Instead, the Giants got demolished and it looks like their season is already over.

This loss can be blamed on a lot of factors. However, there are four clear losers from this game that fans are likely not going to be happy with exiting the week. Whether they deserve it or not is one thing, but these four Giants' did not have a great Week 7:

4. OT Joshua Ezeudu

For some reason, despite showing that he clearly cannot play the position both last season and in this year's preseason, the Giants decided to roll out Joshua Ezeudu to play left tackle with Andrew Thomas hitting IR this week. Shockingly enough, Ezeudu played terribly and was a massive part of the team's offensive woes.

We are not even going to blame Ezeudu here - the UNC product was drafted as a guard, yet has been forced to play a position he saw limited snaps at in college. The Giants have two capable left tackles in Jermaine Eluemunor and Evan Neal. Ezeudu simply cannot continue to be set up to fail like this moving forward.

3. HC Brian Daboll

Last week, despite the loss, we saw Brian Daboll be much more aggressive in his gameplan. The Giants were going for it on 4th-and-short plays, taking shots down the field even when Daniel Jones wasn't hitting them and setting up a solid pace with the run game. Despite all of this, Daboll went right back to being overly conservative against the Eagles and the Giants paid the price.

For starters, the fact that the backfield saw just three carries in the first half is completely unacceptable, especially once you consider Jones' incredibly poor play, which we'll get into later. Daboll's plan this week felt like by far his worst since he took over as the Giants' head coach two seasons ago. Hopefully, he picks things up in order to try and save his job.

2. QB Daniel Jones

Another home game, another disgusting performance for Jones. Sure, the lack of a real left tackle wasn't doing him any favors, but we saw yet another week of Jones failing to hit his targets no matter how easy the throw was. The way his performance fluctuates from week to week is truly magnificent to watch in the worst way possible.

On top of all of this, Jones was seemingly benched at the beginning of the fourth quarter. While the Giants certainly weren't going to win the game when he was pulled, it still felt rather early to call his benching an injury precaution. Regardless, this week was not a good look for a quarterback trying to keep his job post-2024.

1. GM Joe Schoen

We aren't going to blame Joe Schoen for what Saquon Barkley did vs. the Giants. Letting him walk was the right thing to do regardless of how well he played. However, when it comes to Schoen's job security, especially with John Mara running the show, things could get rough. We saw on Hard Knocks just how unhappy Mara was with Barkley leaving and to see the back embarrass the Giants, we can only imagine how angry Mara is now.

Barkley ran the ball 17 times for 176 yards and a touchdown, absolutely dominating the Giants on the ground as both he and the Eagles ran for 269 yards and three touchdowns on the day. We have faith in Schoen moving forward, but he may have to worry about the wrath of Mara before that of the fans.
