Brian Daboll might not outwardly express resentment toward his former employer, but actions speak louder than words, and his recent moves are starting to say plenty.
The former New York Giants head coach kicked things off by becoming the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator. No harm. No foul. However, shortly after taking the job, reports came out that the 50-year-old had done everything in his power during last year's draft to trade up with the Titans to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward first overall. Negotiations failed, and the G-Men were stuck with Jaxson Dart instead.
Daboll spent the better part of last year convincing Big Blue Nation that Dart was his guy. It turns out the Ole Miss standout was just a consolation prize. But now he gets his dream QB, and he's bringing a coach along with him who'll be tasked with keeping Ward upright.
Per Jordan Raanan, recently fired Giants offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo is expected to join Daboll in Nashville, giving John Harbaugh and the G-Men one last parting shot on the way out:
My understanding was as of this morning OL coach Carmen Bricillo was expected to join Brian Daboll in Tennessee. Others from Daboll's Giants offensive staff as well.

Brian Daboll’s Titans moves leaves Giants scrambling
Bricillo should still be coaching the Giants. It made no sense for Harbs to fire him, especially after the front office's, players', and even his own dad's endorsements. And now that decision is haunting him, while Daboll is hitting Broadway Street with a massive smile on his face.
Staffing decisions have stalled a bit for Harbaugh, who had been on an absolute tear since taking over in mid-January. After securing a special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, running backs coach, defensive line coach, and retaining two former staff members within days, he's hit a wall.
It was largely assumed that after Bric was let go, Harbaugh would turn to his Baltimore buddy, George Warhop, for the open role. The pair spent two years together with the 64-year-old coaching up the offensive line, making him the ideal candidate for Big Blue's newly vacant position.
Welp, that went out the window when Todd Monken turned down New York's OC position for the Cleveland Browns' HC gig, taking Warhop with him. And with Bricillo taking his talents to the Titans, the OL coach position remains open.
That's a huge win for Daboll and the Titans. Despite all the O-line problems the Giants have had recently, the 49-year-old was able to get them into the top 10 on Pro Football Focus' rankings of every team's O-line of 2025. Don't be surprised if he works his magic again and gets Tennessee's 23rd-ranked unit moving up.
Harbaugh made a terrible mistake by letting him go without a Plan B. Not only did he miss out on his top option, but he also can't even go back and admit he made a mistake and try to re-hire the guy.
