The New York Giants haven't made the Super Bowl since 2011, when they knocked off the New England Patriots. However, today is Super Bowl Sunday, and the G-Men are one of 30 fanbases waiting patiently to see if the Patriots or Seahawks will be crowned world champions later tonight.

Giants fans are ready for a team that'll break the Super Bowl drought, and it seems like they're closer than some fans think. Jaxson Dart proved himself as the franchise QB despite enduring a whole season of instability, and having Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers at his disposal is giving more hope.

If there's one thing that Giants fans have learned about Dart in his rookie season, it's that he doesn't lack confidence. On the Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams, Dart and Skattebo got to see the Lombardi Trophy, and the 22-year-old's response is exactly what fans have grown to expect from him.

"“We’ll see it soon. … We’ll get it. We’ll touch it when we earn it.”"
Jaxson Dart (and Cam Skattebo)

Big Blue just went 4-13 in 2025, and they've picked inside the top six of each of the last three drafts, so this is a pretty bold admission. Then again, if John Harbaugh can restore the culture and Dennard Wilson can help this defense take some major strides, maybe they're not too far off from contending.

Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo are the duo that's going to bring Super Bowl football back to East Rutherford

Fans didn't get to see as much of Dart and Skattebo together as we would have hoped, but what we did see from their rapport laid the groundwork for an incredibly bright future. A blowout win over the Eagles on primetime and a near-upset on the road against the stout Broncos defense? Sign me up.

What Giants' football has lacked across the last couple of seasons is the confidence and culture that made the Tom Coughlin Super Bowl teams so special. Skattebo is consistently running defenders over, and Dart is willing to put his body on the line if it means the offense will get a fresh set of downs.

And the best part is that these two kids genuinely seem to be best friends both on and off the gridiron. Their evident chemistry is part of what made New York's offense run so effectively last season and was something the unit missed once the Arizona State product went down midseason.

The Giants have their modern-day Eli Manning in Dart, a fresh new RB tandem in Skatt and Tyrone Tracy, and one of the league's most dangerous wideouts in Nabers. The more this group grows together, the better things will get, so hopefully they can pull another rabbit out of their hat.
