Remember that time when the New York Giants were supposed to get lit up by the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6 on a Thursday night primetime matchup? Remember — all of the analysts and experts predicted a G-Men loss? Those really were some dark hypothetical times.

Fortunately, games are decided on the field. And one 34-17 shocking win later, it was Big Blue’s turn to ruffle some feathers and dish a little payback, say-it-with-your-chest style.

It was an all-around incredible performance from New York. From start to finish, they looked like the better team. Unlike in Week 5, they were able to score touchdowns on the first two opening drives of the game and still come away with the win. It was the most impressive win of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart’s young career, and one that Giants fans won’t let fade any time soon. Big Blue’s social media team sure didn’t. They went on a hilarious trolling tirade after the game, in one of the funniest and most awesome moments of the season.

Giants' social media team should take a bow after elite Eagles trolling

Most times, trolling efforts are done once a certain result is solidified. Nothing is worse than getting cooked by your own trolling collapse. That didn’t stop the Giants from ruthlessly posting the Phillies’ final score on the Jumbotron after they lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS.

That’s some next-level-type mind games right there, but then the game ended and Big Blue didn’t feel like easing up... at all.

It started with a savage, blink-if-you-missed-it, double troll. Your eyes will immediately go to the picture, which, of course, is a play off the title screen for episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It’s in the same white font and black backdrop fans of the show are used to seeing.

But it wasn’t just that. The social media team also took it one step further with its caption, poking fun at the “Fly, Eagles Fly” victory song. It was an all-around masterpiece:

Not to be outdone, the social team posted an even more hilarious and diabolical Twitter (X) post with comedian Nate Bargatze — not part of any production — representing the Giants and smashing an Eagle with a golf ball representing Philly.

This one was way crazier, but it was more geared towards trolling the experts, who all predicted the Birds were going to upset the G-Men. (Don’t worry, no Eagles were harmed.)

It’s pretty awesome for the team’s social media account to join in on the fun, especially after a massive win like that. They’re usually on the receiving end of such posts. Just ask Dart, who was trolled shamelessly by the previously winless New Orleans Saints after a rough Week 5 outing. No one is safe out here.

The vibes and energy surrounding this team couldn’t be higher than right now. The postgame carnage that puts the cherry on top. If anything, this is just an extra reason for the Giants to win. It’s important to flex those creative muscles, so it’s nice to see the product on the field deliver electric content off of it. Fans will find out what sort of encore the social team has in store when they play Philly again in two weeks. For now, it’s on to Denver in Week 7.
