When Minnesota Vikings linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. decided to troll the NY Giants in an interview, he just had to know he was going to poke the bear a little bit. In case you missed it, Pace showed a complete lack of respect for the Giants offense and he pretty much guaranteed a Week 1 win for his team.
The clip has since gone viral and Giants fans were up in arms about things. You better believe that the clip has made its way to the locker room as well. New starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor appears to have seen the clip and he wasted no time posting a reaction. It was short, but Eluemunor is just laughing things off here:
The Giants will look to make Ivan Pace Jr. pay for talking trash
If that's Eluemunor's reaction, just imagine what some of the other guys inside of the locker room are thinking. The best way for the Giants to shut this kid up will be by putting on a show on offense and coming away with a win. It goes without saying, but Daniel Jones is going to have to be a main reason for why that potentially ends up happening.
Jones' preseason performance against the Houston Texans is still being brought up by a lot of people. His pick-six was infuriating to watch, but we can't forget that he was able to get back on the right track in the second quarter of that game. Which version of Danny Dimes will we see against the Vikings? We hope it's the one that lit up the Minnesota defense in the Wild Card Round two campaigns ago.
How sweet would it be if Jones throws for 300 yards against the Vikings again and one of his three (yes, three) touchdowns goes to No. 6 overall pick Malik Nabers. We'd love to see it, especially if it comes in a 31-24 Giants victory. Pace decided to do A LOT of talking ahead of the season-opener. It's time to make him regret that decision.
