The Philadelphia Eagles act more like vultures. There’s no other way to put it. They shamelessly poach their opponents’ players in free agency, show no remorse, and somehow manage to come out better for it. It’s horrifically annoying, and New York Giants fans know the experience better than anyone.
Not sure if anyone’s forgotten Saquon Barkley, but in case you have, the Eagles swooped in during the 2024 free agency period to steal him away from the G-Men in what still stands as one of the worst ball drops of Joe Schoen’s career. Barkley only went on to have one of the most iconic seasons in NFL history and win a Super Bowl with the hated rivals.

But as fate would have it, Big Blue Nation might not be the only division rival to watch the heart and soul of its team get ripped out by Philly. The ongoing nonsense with Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones has created a genuinely terrifying possibility: the disgruntled 26-year-old could end up in the City of Brotherly Love. Fox Sports rubbed salt in the wound with a social media graphic showing the Eagles having the highest odds (along with the Patriots at +1000) outside of Dallas to land Parsons. Ultimate. Nightmare.
The Eagles have the highest odds other than the Cowboys to land Micah Parsons, per @FOXSports.

Giants fans will riot if Micah Parsons somehow lands in Philadelphia
Jerry Jones has no idea what he’s doing. That’s the only explanation for how we got to this point with Parsons — a trade request from one of the most dominant players in the league, and it somehow feels like Dallas is surprised by it.
Shocker: One of the league's most electric pass rushers wanted to get paid for being... one of the league's most electric pass rushers. Instead, Jones completely torpedoed contract talks. He has done everything in his power to royally screw up talks, and it's getting worse by the day.
Unfortunately, now the Eagles are quietly lurking. The Patriots are tied with them for the second-best odds, but GM Howie Roseman is a far better executive than New England's Eliot Wolf (no offense). But Roseman might just be the best GM in the sport, so if there's anyone with an outside shot at this, it's him. And that objectively stinks.
Philly is still riding the high of that Super Bowl dismantling of the Chiefs. And they're not a team that likes to stop the good times. So why not go after Parsons? They don't care if he's in the division. They’ve already taken half the Giants’ roster this offseason. Azeez Ojulari, Adoree’ Jackson, Patrick Johnson, and now maybe starting a similar trend with Micah Parsons. It's a tough pill to swallow.
Even Jermaine Eluemunor is giving out his two cents. The Giants right tackle told Parsons to go “get your money in the AFC,” which is exactly how every sane person feels right now. Because if this ends with Parsons in Kelly Green, absolutely nobody outside of Philly will be happy about any of it.
At this point, if Parsons joins the Eagles, just cancel the season and fire up the therapy sessions.
