New York Giants rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo are taking head-to-head to new heights. Typically, their face-offs are reserved for literal headbutts — but Pepsi has a different idea.

The two first-year standouts have both been nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week following their monster performances in Thursday night’s 34-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s the fifth straight week a Giants rookie has landed on the ballot. Dart has been there every week since taking over as the starter. Skattebo’s been nominated twice before.

This time, though, it’s a two-man race — and both wear Giants blue.

Big Blue fans are going to have a tough time picking sides. Not because of bias, but because both rookies have legit cases to take home the title belt.

Dart put on a show, completing 17 of 25 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown with a 104.6 rating. He added 58 rushing yards and a score on the ground, becoming just the third quarterback in the Super Bowl era to rush for 50-plus yards in each of his first three starts — joining Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts. His 149.3 passer rating under pressure was the highest of any rookie this season.

Skattebo, meanwhile, racked up 98 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries, plus two catches for 12 more. He became the first NFL rookie to rush for three touchdowns in a game since 2020, and just the second in Giants history to ever do it. 79 of those came after contact. Four runs went for 10-plus yards. Four defenders were left whiffing on tackles. He's becoming a problem for opposing defenses.

Together, they accounted for every rushing touchdown and nearly 170 total yards in the win. Giants fans don’t have to choose a favorite — but Pepsi’s doing its best to make them try.

You can vote for Dart or Skattebo at NFL.com or on the NFL Mobile app until Thursday at 11 a.m. ET. One rookie’s getting a belt — and no matter who wins, the G-Men already did.
