The fallout from these signings will be felt most acutely in the NFC North and South. The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers both entered the post-draft phase desperate for interior help to fix struggling run defenses, but with Reader, Harris, and Fotu now wearing Giants blue, their options are drying out.
Similarly, the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings are still hunting for interior depth, only to find that New York has already signed the best available thumpers to rotate alongside their starters.
Ultimately, this is an absolute masterclass in roster leverage. The Giants have turned a position of need into a position of unyielding power.
